I have finished the major part of the development of the Turntable controller.

Developed based on Clement Chan’s project. I have added a few key features:
1. Features a more reliable keyboard
2. Developed on Arduino Mega 2560, to allow for future expansion.
3. Built in FRAM storage for recording turntable position thus retaining its last location in memory and allowing for synchronization with a DCC controller.
4. The controller pairs with an Arduino based decoder using the IOWA Scaled DCC shield and communicating with the controller by serial communication.
More details and circuits and code will be posted soon !
Hello Mr. Dheerendra Prasad,
Are you willing to share your Arduino source code and print designs for the Kato Turntable controller?
I also started working on controlling the turntable. I also used the source code op Mr. Chan, and tried to enhance this to use the Littfinski code to control with an ESU ECoS.
But this is not yet running perfectly without errors.
Absolutely, John I will share it with you. Please email me!
Hello Dheerendra
I would love to build one of these systems aswell and pair it upto my Z21/itrain layout 🙂
Please share ! i have been trying to do this for ages with a Kato turntable!!! 🙂
Thanks!
William.
William, Check out my updated controller. As soon as my new PCB arrives and I verify it I will post the Eagle files as well.
